Daddy's Birthday

I recently learned how to drink out of a straw, and I like Mommy's water better than my own.

I love lemons! I stole this from Mommy's glass, and she thought that tasting it would teach me not to fish in her water glass. She was wrong, as I sucked on this lemon until our meals came!

Yay, chicken's here! By the way, Daddy calls me 'The Claw' because my hand is always reaching toward the camera in pictures, and looks especially huge.

While Grammie was visiting a few weeks ago, her and Mommy let me have a little treat and empty a tissue box. I had a great time emptying it, then Mommy would put the tissue back in the box, and I'd empty it again. But, that was so three weeks ago, as now I like to take out a few, put them back in, then hand the whole box over to Mommy.

Christmas Concert

Mommy and Daddy were impressed that I didn't crawl away or start crying when on the stage. I was SO happy that Grammie and my cousin Chelsey could come and watch my performance!

Bang Bang Sticks

Anyone who has been to my house to visit knows how much I love my bang bang sticks!

I love Cali!

I love spending time with my 'sister', Cali. I laugh like crazy when I grab at her fur, and lately I'm grabbing at her nose a lot, but she doesn't seem to mind.
We have lots of things in common, and like to play with the same toys.
We also like to sit and look out the window together.

First Christmas Present Ever!

I got an early Christmas present from Aunt Kim, Uncle Alex, James and Will! It was my absolute first Christmas present ever, and it was my first pair of winter boots! Thank you, Stewarts.

November Visits

My Aunt Margie came to visit in November! We had a great time, and she took Cali and I for lots of walks. It's too bad her and I both got sick at the end of her visit!
After being sick for a week and spending two days at home with my Omi (thank you for taking such great care of me!), I had a sleep over at the farm while Mommy and Daddy went to a play. Omi was sick and in bed, so Opa played with me for a bit, then got me all ready for and tucked into bed. I just loved playing with his beard!

I'm supposed to be learning how to blow bubbles, but I prefer to scoop up water with my mouth.
I'm not all that cuddley, so Mommy's thoroughly enjoying this rare minute of me snuggling in.

I don't hang out in here very often, and I don't like to stay in my Jolly Jumper for very long, but I'm finally starting to jump!

Daddy's briefcase is fun because it slides a bit, and I 'walk' it across the room.

My absolute favorite place to stand, especially when I can watch Daddy and Cali in the backyard.

Daddy just can't resist my sweet face looking out at him... or all my loud banging on the window to try and get his attention!

Crazy Happy Noises

I had a great time watching Daddy and Cali chase each other around the backyard last week. By the way, the noises I'm making are 'happy' noises, and I make them all the time. Also, I had an accident at daycare two days in a row, so these too-small-overalls are all JoAnne and Sandy could find to put me in.

Here is the first time Mommy and Daddy ever saw me stand up. I'd been doing it for a little while at daycare, because they have really great stuff I could grab with my hands.

Swiss Relatives

Mommy, Daddy, cousin Jordan and I went to Omi and Opa's farm for Thanksgiving, and hung out with Onkel Albert and his grandson Thomas who were visiting from Switzerland! It was a beautiful day, so we spent lots of time outside... and I sucked on lots of leaves.
We went for a walk at Belwood Lake before dessert. Daddy liked walking ahead to have time with his girls.

Jordan and Mommy were slow, because Mommy kept getting rocks in her shoes.

A last visit with Onkel Albert and Thomas the day before they left.

We decided to join them for lunch and I had my first experience with a Chinese buffet.

Onkel Albert knows more English than he let on when Mommy and Daddy were in Switzerland, and he kept saying I was a 'happy girl' and that I had 'pretty blue eyes'. I thought he was pretty funny.

I was getting pretty overdue for a nap, but Daddy kept me entertained and from getting too grouchy before everyone finished eating.
