Me Being Cute in Freddy...

Hanging out on the couch with my Grammie.
Sitting with Aunt Kim.

Playing in the living room, which Grammie turned into an awesome playroom, complete with some new toys from Grammie and Grampie that I get to bring home!

Hanging out with Daddy by the pool.

I love my new 'bug beads' from Grampie. With my new teeth coming in, I need all the things I can find to chew on!

Family Time

A photo as Mommy and Daddy are leaving for Chelsey and Ryan's wedding (which was absolutely beautiful!). This is the first time I was left with a babysitter that wasn't a family member! (Penny: you're considered family, so you don't count) Mommy and Daddy knew I was in great hands with Alysha, who I had a great time with. In addition to being our babysitter, she was our photographer too! :)
Meeting Jayden, my cousin Kris's nephew, and stealing his giraffe!

Keeping my cousins, James and Will, company while they eat lunch. I was getting a little grouchy, so James helped me by getting me interested in my exersaucer toys again.

Hanging out with 'Aunt' Alice.

A little afternoon cuddle with Aunt Kim and Cousin Will.

Uncle Alex arrived in Fredericton for the wedding!

James and Will were quite intrigued by me in my Jolly Jumper. I think they were jealous they couldn't go in it anymore!

Will and I were buddies and played together a bunch of times.

Me with Grampie and my cousins!

Just me and my Grampie.

Eating in the Great Outdoors

I've become a real pro at getting Cheerios into my mouth. One day I could hardly pick them up, the next day I was picking them up but didn't really even try to put them in my mouth, and the next day I was feeding them to myself! Grammie and Grampie like to take credit for all my advances in eating and sitting. :)

Cottaging

We spent a day with Aunt Margie at her cottage, and I had a great time giggling as the three dogs (Cali, Ally, and Putney) all played.

6 Months Old!

Grammie and Grampie's dog, Putney, was in the first few shots.
Since coming to Fredericton, I've gotten really good at sitting.

I love feeling grass in my toes and ripping it out with my hands.

Swimming

Grammie and Grampie both took me swimming in their pool, and I had a great time flapping around and splashing myself and Grammie in the face.

First Airplane Ride

Here I am saying goodbye to my Omi. Daddy and I drove out to the farm to pick up Opa, who was driving us to the airport.
Having a little play in the airport.

On the airplane, sitting on Daddy's lap.

Me and my Daddy on the plane!

I'm feeling a little sleepy.

Daddy trying to get me to fall asleep. By the way, he didn't cover my face with a blanket; I like to pull it up that way to rub my eyes.

Nope, not going to sleep. This flying business is way too exciting!

Hey, what is this thing Daddy keeps pointing at me?!

Heat Wave + Summer Vacation = Wading Pool

Just arriving at the local wading pool, and checking out the scene. By the way, my right eye looks a little funny because Mommy put a bit of sunscreen on the bottom part of my face, but I managed to rub it into my eye. I wasn't very impressed when Daddy first dipped me into the water!

Okay, this isn't so bad after all...

Hey look, a leaf!

I finally got into the swing of things and splashed a bit with my legs. If you look really closely, you'll even see a smile on my face.
I'm SOOOOOO tired; please take me home!

New Snack

I have now mastered Baby Mum Mums! I eat pretty much the whole thing, other than a little bit at the end, which usually ends up stuck to my elbow somehow... Oh Mommy... WHY do you feel the need to put my bottoms on my head?!

Finally, after 2 weeks of trying, I've started to eat Cheerios and not make a disgusted face when they're put in my mouth. But, I'm still not having much luck picking them up. My big clumsy fingers are a long way from doing the 'pincher grasp', as they just kind of crawl around the tray, occassionally tapping a Cheerio.

What can I say... she loves me!

Cali goes where I go, and when I'm not around she likes to hang out where I've been!
